There's something very special and cool about seeing this high definition video showing New York City in 1993. While we can watch a lot of feature films from the 1990s at 24 frames per second, this footage below at 30 frames per second appears to our eyes as normal, everyday life.

While we can't travel back in time, we can certainly watch, read and learn more about days gone by. Footage like the clips in this video, old newspapers made viewable online and even rare books only available on eBay... just three examples of how there are new ways of finding information that's been locked away for just a few years, or in some cases, well over a century.
